"Kitten season" is upon us. We need your help. Foster homes are needed to provide care for young kittens until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. This can require up to a two month commitment. Foster homes need to have an area where they can isolate their own pets from the foster pets. If you are interested and are a responsible pet lover, please stop by the Humane Society to fill out an application.
You may also choose to foster any of our other animals in the shelter. This helps free up room at the shelter so that we may take in other needy animals. It also helps dogs and cats by taking them out of the stressful shelter environment and helps to acclimate them to a home environment which makes them more adoptable.
"Fostering satisfies my 'kitten need' since my pets are spayed and neutered.'
Foster Mom Kelly Bush who has been a dedicated foster parent for more than 2 years.
Please call the Humane Society at (360) 757-0445 for more information or stop by the shelter.
